"Update: Premiums kept on raising and their excuse is that it’s the same across every company in the industry. I went from paying the amount in my review below to $293 per month. Crazy! Then we tried to get refunded but they cut the refund and made some lame excuse why. State Farm insurance is a thief! Well, I switched to USAA after over 6 years being with State Farm and now saving over $100 per month on insurance with the full coverage including home Insurance and more. The $293 I was paying to State Farm did not include home insurance. The best insurance there is! Tom is an excellent guy who goes above and beyond for his customers. I've had State Farm for a few years now and I've been highly satisfied with their service and my insurance rate. I enrolled in the Drive Safe program, and so far I went from paying about $150 to now paying only $80 a month for full coverage insurance including a rental car if needed. I also want to say, whenever I have questions or any issues, Tom always responds to my emails or phone calls. I switched from Progressive (auto) to State Farm (auto) and so far, I made the right choice! My only suggestion is, I hope that some day State Farm would offer lower deductibles for home renters insurance... at least to $250. When that happens, I will switch from Progressive Home Renters Insurance to State Farm."

"I have had State Farm for over 10 years and have had wonderful service until I moved to Olympia and went with Tom Kuhlman. Not only did his negligent staff misquote us to begin with, they didn't fix our account for almost 6 months of back and forth. Multiple things continue to come up wrong on our policy and they also continue to raise our prices. I recently have been furloughed from work and have attempted to make a payment plan with them for which they have not followed through including letting us know we had to pay 90% of the total due before it was past due like they said they would. This is THE WORST agency I've ever dealt with and could not in good conscious let others make the same mistake. On top of all of this they have asked us several times for a good review, for what, who knows? Trash service."

This is how you choose a carrier - to have claims dealt with quickly by people. You might find a lower premium by a few bucks at some other carrier. You will need that savings to buy aspirin when you get stuck in bot hell without a human that answers a phone."
